So, why massage?

Massage Therapy

- I’ve often heard, “Aurélie, you’re too sensitive!! Don’t overthink it, you can’t save the planet, we can’t understand everything, etc., etc...”
- One day, while we were comfortably sitting on the couch and I was instinctively massaging my 13-year-old son’s face because he was suffering from a terrible migraine, he completely fell asleep on me. When he woke up, he asked me who taught me how to do that.
- My partner, who regularly asks for relaxing massages after a long day at work, has often pointed out my talent for detecting sensitive points in a short amount of time! 😉
- After sports events or during busy times in life, I have always felt the need to “get rid” of the tensions in my body, and what better way than a good massage??

This is a non-exhaustive list that has pushed me to persevere in this profession and this "art" that brings me as much well-being as I try to share with others.
My definition of an athlete

For whom?

Swimmer, trail runner, runner, football player, handball player, skier, snowboarder, cyclist, gymnast, CrossFit enthusiast, etc.
But also:

Because we all have muscles, nerves, a cardiovascular system, and a lymphatic system that can be put to the test, physically and/or mentally, and that simply deserve to be maintained…

“Prevention is better than cure!”

My Approach

The Benefits of Massage

In my space, there’s no moralizing or guilt-tripping! I advocate for "come as you are," embracing imperfection and respecting one another.
I am a rather vibrant person who embraces life to the fullest, who loves convivial moments... and I enjoy seeking that balance and discipline between respecting one’s body and mind and letting go to savor the good things in life!
I practice this profession with passion, rigor, and professionalism, but I never take myself too seriously.
Alleviates muscle pain
Reduces physical stress
Relieves chronic pain
Improves your mood
My Training Path

Swedish Sports Massage

Driven by a commitment to massage with precision and a deep understanding of human anatomy, I chose to pursue the Suédosportif training program at one of the most renowned massage schools in France, and I’ve been certified since 2025 (400 hours of training).

My trainers are two passionate associates with over 25 years of experience in their field. She, a former martial arts champion, fitness, and bodybuilding coach, has been practicing massage for 20 years. He, originally from Canada, has also been a physiotherapist and massage therapist for over 20 years. He worked in private clinics in Canada and then with an American clientele who greatly appreciate deep and precise massages in luxury spas.

Together, they founded the Azur Massage school in 2012 and individually or collectively support high-level athletes, as well as teams of massage therapists in prestigious spas and thalassotherapy centers in France and Europe.

Intuitive wellness massage, yes, but with rigor and knowledge of what we practice!
